I found a copy of "Out of the Blue" on vinyl for a quarter several weeks ago.

Still has the cut-out space station card and everything.

Far Gone, I Can't See Nobody or Rust Belt off of Love Battery's "Far Gone.  I am, no doubt, the only Love Battery fan here, but I bad tripped (acid) to that fucking album and those songs scared the fucking piss out of me. Sub Pop screwed them badly and the album wasn't mixed at all (tracks were just dropped on top of each other), so it has the most peculiar "sound", and their songs are generally psychedelic (original band name was Battery Acid) ...Rust Belt ends with Ron Rudzitis singing over and over "You're turning green" (I think - that's what I heard then and have heard ever since). A lot of Love Battery and Grifters

The pastoral vibes of Strapping Fieldhands just lend themselves to autumn (in my mind).

was finally able to accessDeadbolt's myspace page.the song i was thinking of,"scare me",is not on here, but ANY of these songs quailfies.  check out the videos, too.   good call on "blue jay way", matt.  how was class, by the way?  hope your feeling a little better...take care.
