Oh, and if you're gonna shag a sheep, shag it on the edge of a cliff as it pushes back better.

l i have to say about the whole situation is that a batter can get up there with his elbow and knee and foot covered in armor so he can lean over the plate...then he can wear padded batting gloves to prevent his hands from stinging...bat's goobed up with pine tar for a better grip ...all that and a pitcher can't put a little goop on the ball...hell kenny should be able to go out there and beat off on the ball with all the shit the hitters get away with. that's what he should of said... Reporter: "kenny what was that on your hand?" Kenny: "Cum...i beat off before the game and that damn john mellencamp screwed up my routine...never made it to the tissues"
which brings me to my next point...the cougar constroversay...that's the real issue... what took him so long to get out there? Hell nobody seemed to have a clue...first fox shows his band out there looking lost...then they cut to poo holes running around. my theory...the first time they announced him they only said "now singing his song my country john cougor"...the next time they said "now singing his song my country from his new album blah blah due out october..blah blah" and did you see that smug little prick...what an ass

Is Sabamah out of town? Hm. Dunno. No sign of the St. Louis Kid Killer lately either.

Their cover of "The Orchids" is beyond awesome. I was obsessed with that song when JeffWerbo brought the disc home from Chicago. Obsessed enough, of course, to track down the original. I don't remember Psychic TV ever sounding that pretty.

Speaking of covers, I liked Siouxie's "Dear Prudence" cover too, Dan. Don't know the "Through the Looking Glass" record y'all are talking about though. I think I was pretty much over my Siouxsie phase by then...

I never recovered from my SATB phase.
I have maybe 20 7" and 12" singles, some bootlegs and most of the albums* and the Creatures' first two albums.
Recently I've also been peepin' the reissues.
Woohoo!
* Except Superstition (puking smiley), The Rapture and Through The Looking Glass.

I would probably pick up The Rapture for a handful of songs that I like, but that horrible guitarist (Jon Klein they picked up in their last days really fucking ruined everything.
If they had John McGeoch (sp?) (Magazine guitarist) the entire trip I believe they would be a much more respected band today.
I still hear influence on many bands, but they simply aren't a hip band to name check. I hear the intro to "The Train Runs over the Camel But Is Derailed by the Gnat" and I can't help but think of "Sky Train" from the Creatures. A lot of S. Drozd's drumming reminds me of Budgie's.
Of course, I do not know exactly what Steven Drozd was influenced by...so it could just be that they are both genius drummers.

A non-boring person would've done it on purpose.

Disney wasn't invented yet when I was a kid. But animal fucking is timeless.
