We went to the Botanical Gardens. Amazing and basically free (although some parts ask for a $1 donation). They have this Thai Pavillion covered with real gold leaf. Here's Christina pretending to meditate:

They had this little bed of flowers that you could rotate and a kaleidoscope viewer thingy looking down on it.
