BAGHDAD, Iraq - American reporter Jill Carroll was set free Thursday, nearly three months after she was kidnapped in a bloody ambush that killed her translator. She said she had been treated well.

Carroll, 28, was dropped off near the Iraqi Islamic Party offices. She walked inside, and people there called American officials, Iraqi police said.

well for that, I salute you my brother...


so last night i think i reached the apex of altered states...

a had a little stash left over...some shake from this awesome bud that my friend hooked me up with outta his own stash (i'm a good customer).

I knew I couldn't put this shake in my normal tin foil bowl...knowing i'd just suck the shake straight through the chamber...so I made myself a nice paper towel roll bowl...concocted a little tin foil covering and pierced it with some pin holes...put a carb in the side...taped up the opening with electrical tape...and then fired it up.

don't know if it was the shake, or the increased smoke volume but i was sent flying...it hit me like 10 minutes afterward...i was sitting their reading and all of a sudden i got that feeling like gravity just increased and everything inside me is being pulled to the ground...just tilt your head back and go with it...usually i'd only get this feeling after drinking alot...perhaps a modifications of the spins, but no spinning just falling.

Once the feeling passed everything became clear.

but then i forgot everthing.
