And what terrible bands are you talking about?

It looks sort of pseudo-good if you know what I mean.

I don't. Please explain. Maybe if you'd give more examples of pseudo-good movies or music, or whatever, it might help me understand.

But of course obscure doesn't equal good!  But obscure and good beats good & popular, because popular bands don't need more fans, whereas obscure bands do.  I perform a public service Matthew!  And my terrible bands are better than your terrible bands.   Tongue

...or at least they're more obscure Huh

Something that's basically well made, but forgettable.  You basically enjoyed watching it, but you wouldn't ever be inspired to watch it again.

I'm talking about the kind of "good" that if you were to watch a different movie every night and they all turned out to be that level of "good," you'd get burned out and take up a different hobby.  Not quite bad enough to even be considered mediocre, yet something less than inspiring.

I could list particular movies, but we probably wouldn't agree.  You'd probably have your own list if you understand what I'm saying...or more likely you've forgotten about them already.

I haven't watched Crash myself, so I'm not trying to pick on it.  I used to watch pretty much EVERY movie that came out in a year that seemed like it MIGHT be worth watching...and I just got to a point where I saw too many movies that left me feeling like what I described above, so now I try to avoid movies that leave me feeling that way if I can.  There are too many good old movies to waste your time watching 200+ new movies every year.  My suspicion at the time it came out was that Crash might be one of "those" movies.  I haven't dismissed it yet or anything.  Odds are I'll end up watching it.  I'm just talking about my reservations.
