Regardless, it sounds a million times more interesting than my night...any of them in the last couple of weeks, actually.

Not to be outdone:
BAGHDAD: Eleven civilians from one family were killed on Wednesday when a US helicopter bombed their house in the village of Is'haqi, 170 km north of Baghdad.

Imagine their reality compared to ours. Jesus.
I just tested that hangover theory. You know, "the hair of the dog" theory? No vodka here, but there is bourbon - and it got rid of my hangover...I think it did.

It was my sister's birthday. After the birthday festivities, I stopped at a local drinking establishment and had 4 Grey Goose martinis. Cost almost as much as my sister's present.
I went with my bro-in-law to pick up some food. I was putting the food in the back seat, and when I shut the back door, the door somehow caught the top corner of my glasses and flung them from my face. Both sides of my frames broke. They'll hold the lenses as long as I don't move my head.

I'm having problems in my relationship, and I have feelings for a woman who doesn't live in Ft. Worth. Why does my mind do these things to me? It's not just "feelings," I've seriously got a lustful loving feeling for another woman. But if I - in any way - act on it, it'll bring my rickety house-of-cards world tumbling down and will make me even crazier than I am right now.
How do I get myself into these fixes?

Upon further reflection I think I have to demote V For Vendetta a half star. that ending was just a weeeeee bit too schmaltzy. AND they left out one of my favorite chapters involving Inspector Finch.
But still worth seeing.
I've been pot-free for about 5 days now. I'm pretty much enjoying it. My moods have evened out and I'm having really crazy vibrant dreams. WHo knew?

March 10th marked my 5th or 6th anniversary with
S_ _ _, but things aren't going very well. We might as well have made a pledge of abstinence.
Abstinence.
Tripp, you've been with the same woman for a while now. What do you do when you find yourself attracted to another woman? Like really attracted. Don't tell me it hasn't happened. What do you do?

What was the cause behind such extreme behavior?

Imagine their reality compared to ours. Jesus.
I was trying to imagine that death toll yesterday being announced in Canada (keep in mind it was just in Baghdad...a very large, sprawling city, but still smaller than Canada by aboot 26.6 million people)...if 87 people were found murdered (country-wide) I can't imagine how we would react. The total murders in Canada 2003: 548.
Imagine how much you'd be drinking if you were in Baghdad? Imagine how much I would be? One of the ironies of Muslim nations: they have so many reasons to drink, yet it's against the faith to do so. Not that there's not a whole lot of drinking going on in the Middle East. Heroin addiction is once again out of control in Afghanistan now that the Taliban is gone...and the junk flows again to all corners of the Earth.

Yeah, for now. That's the problem...you have to keep drinking to avoid feeling shitty and before you know it it's
full-blown withdrawal
you are battling, not
hangover
. Technically a hangover is like mild winthdrawal...which is why drinking more helps you out of it.

My dealer delivers, and it's always KB. It would be nearly impossible to "kick" now.
