With Matt working, Mr. Cawsome getting installed and yours truly reading articles like mad, things are bound to be a little slow around these parts for a while.

Yeah, I guess the Beatles really did suck. I don't really like the Beatles, though at least 1/2 to 3/4 of their catalogue are the best pop songs I've ever heard.

The Beatles are overrated.   Kiss

I heard they just signed a deal with the up-and-coming label "7 Inch Bitch," so they can get some indie cred.

One day, Jizo received one of Hofuku's disciples and asked him, "How does your teacher instruct you?" "My teacher instructs me to shut my eyes and see no evil thing; to cover my ears and hear no evil sound; to stop my mind-activities and form no wrong ideas," the monk replied. "I do not ask you to shut your eyes," Jizo said, "but you do not see a thing. I do not ask you to cover your ears, but you do not hear a sound. I do not ask you to cease your mind-activities, but you do not form any idea at all."

By a margin of 52% to 43%, Americans want Congress to consider impeaching President Bush if he wiretapped American citizens without a judge's approval, according to a new poll.

Imagine if that could actually happen! I'll call all y'all later and we'll chat about it, 'k?

Impeaching Bush would be a swell Martin Luther King Day activity.

How does it feel
To treat me like you do
When you’ve laid your hands upon me
And told me who you are

I thought I was mistaken
I thought I heard your words
Tell me how do I feel
Tell me now how do I feel

Those who came before me
Lived through their vocations
From the past until completion
They will turn away no more

And I still find it so hard
To say what I need to say
But I’m quite sure that you’ll tell me
Just how I should feel today

I see a ship in the harbor
I can and shall obey
But if it wasn’t for your misfortunes
I’d be a heavenly person today

And I thought I was mistaken
And I thought I heard you speak
Tell me how do I feel
Tell me now how should I feel

Now I stand here waiting

I thought I told you to leave me
While I walked down to the beach
Tell me how does it feel
When your heart grows cold
(grows cold, grows cold, grows cold)

I'm not hungover...today. (Friday, Saturday and Sunday were a different story... ouchy.)

Just got a grant denial from one of the publishers I applied to (three more to go).

Painted another coat in my room and it's still all streaky and blotchy. And I get to smell paint fumes for a few more days to boot!

That's more or less how I'm doing.

MLK Day. I guess on the bright side, if someone hadn't offed him, I'd have had to work today. So see, it was actually a good thing.
