it's comforting to know courtney love is getting three hot meals a day in rehab.

i'm guessing we'll see her starring in a reality show called "Fat Rock Star" once she spends another 180 days in rehab. now that kirstie alley has lost all that weight while shilling for jenny craig, somebody needs to step up and give us what we long for: pathos.

I'd still love it if she showed her tits in court, stood on the table and dove onto all the observers.

She kinda looks like a cross between Sally Struthers and Suzanne Sommers with green makeup

Oh c'mon! Bash her because she's a publicity whore, not because she's fat! What is it with this new obsession with skinitude?

what new obsession?
i unloaded in courtney's direction last night primarily out of astonishment that she would show up to court looking so unkempt, seeing as how she has been obsessed with being a STAR for so long and all the rigorous policing of boundaries that goes with such a pursuit (and yes, that includes body size, both for males and females).
you must also know that after a year or two of dedicated research in the nebulous territory of "women in rock," i have had it with the attention courtney love has received for her so-called groundbreaking attitudes and behaviors expressed in songs and movies.
am i dancing on her grave? not yet, but she's starting to resemble the living dead.
will she somehow bounce back from this condition? most certainly, and it will be covered by journalists and photographers and filmmakers.
in the meantime, i will continue to look at that photo of her and chuckle about how her inner trailer park barfly has finally overtaken her constructed identity of rock star/model/actress. chuckling won't make me feel better aboot myself, but i can't help it.

Besides, her weight has nothing to do with the green tint of her complexion.

Yay!
(Glad to be rid of rock star/model/actress types and their male counterparts who have decended upon Toronto for the film festival.)
Oh, and yay, that moon thing.

I guess if I had a bunch of money and nothing really to do, I'd be pretty fucked up.
Hell, I've managed to be pretty fucked up with a job and a lower-middle class salary!
I think before that, I managed to be pretty fucked up with no salary and pretty much nothing to do.
No matter what the economic situation, I guess I'm just fucked up.
But at least I don't look green yet.
