this new release info goes oot to chad, primarily:

KING CRIMSON [ROBERT FRIPP/MEL COLLINS/BOZ BURRELL/IAN WALLACE/PETER SINFIELD] - Live At Brighton Dome, 1971 [2 CD set] (DGM KCCC 30) The 30th Collectors' Club release (May 2005). King Crimson Live at Brighton Dome, October 16th 1971.
"This is obviously a band at its peak, enjoying one anothers playing and it shows. Mel, Robert and Ian are stretching out whilst Boz is anchoring the whole thing, steady and ultimately reliable, enabling the others to take it out as far as Pluto and back without ever getting lost. A musical lighthouse if you will saving the others from an impending train wreck." - Ian Wallace. Featuring - Boz Burrell - bass, lead vocals; Robert Fripp - guitar, mellotron; Mel Collins - saxes, flute, mellotron; Ian Wallace - drums, vocals; Peter Sinfield - words, sounds & visions
[A note to the suspicious: This is the legitimate DGM product, not the Russian counterfeit copies that are found on eBay and elsewhere!]
2 CD set for $18

Just got myself the editors cut of Live at Pompeii (the DVD also includes the original cut).  The director added all kinds of images from scientific movies and computer animations, the Pompeii ruins and volcanic activity to the original film, and there are a few interviews with the band members.  It's pretty neat.  I think the Cap would approve.
