Yesterday, I went to see two documentaries at Harbourfront -- gratis.

The first one, "Moog," is about the obvious.

[Bob] Moog explains that he "can feel what's going on in a piece of electronic equipment... it's something between discovering and witnessing."

And he is convinced that many musicians come to "feel" a circuit in a similar way. "They make contact."

And he's an avid gardener!

 Cool

The second film was Maestro," which goes deep into the scene that set the ground work for what was to come in dance music culture worldwide. A first of its kind documentary on the secret world of the underground, starring many of the most essential DJs of today.

It was all part of the Beats, Breaks and Culture Festival on the waterfront, so caught some acid jazz (not my fave), techno djs, etc. etc.

(removes nerd glasses)

So where's the party at, yo?
