seriously you guys, i need to get some grifters cd's, all mine is vinylized, seriously.  i am needing to reconnect with music.
hey, my best friend Gram who i started sad like crazy with is in a sub pop band now, Rogue Wave. . I don't like it very much though.
anybody see Camper VB on tour? they got their gear stolen twice! they borrowed one of my guitars for a week. So now i'm like totally in with them and stuff and they'll probably give me hella props forever. or not...

Mari and I are still trying to feed this Zoey thing here

Trompey-baby!
I heard Rogue Wave was really lousy live. I like a few of their songs though. Some of their stuff reminds me of the Simpletones.
There's a big Built To Spill show in mempho tomorrow night. or is it tonight?... ? I don't think I'm goin though. I might. i can't decide. I can't afford to, that's for sure.

So here's my review of

Revenge of the Sith

At 9am Saturday morning i was sound asleep. Suddenly the door buzzer rang. Was it just some kids playing a joke on me? I don't know. maybe I never will.

When I finally got up there were dirty dishes to be done and a huge pile of dirty laundry sitting in the hallway. I carried all the laundry to the attic where our washing machine is. it's getting hotter in the attic now so I opened the vents. From outside I heard lawnmowers and the sounds of little children playing. I washed all the towels.

I was going to take a shower but I realized the mat in the shower was getting a little grungy. Not too much. But it's better to not let it progress too far so i took it out to the backyard and cleaned it. I saw Ned the cat back there. he has made enemies of the neighborhood bluejays. He probably doesn't know they consider him an enemy. I think ned thinks they're all good friends playing a nice game of buzz the cat into the ground.

My ole friend Stivers recently gave me his weight machine. pretty swanky stuff. it's like a full gym. so I've been working out some. Soon I will be ready for the beaches. I hope to be the one kicking the sand in someone else's face this time around.

there are a lot of cave-crickets living in my shed where the weight-machine is. They jump all around when I get in there. I saw some new spiders in there too.

after working out for a little bit i was hungry so i went inside and made a sandwich and had a glass of coke. it was one of those times where the coke tasted  so great. man! that was some excellent coca-cola.

I had to go to the grocery store to ge some kitty litter but i noticed my car was making kind of a rattling sound and then i remembered I needed to get the oil changed. So i went to Jiffy Lube. Carl, the attendant at the jiffy lube and ran my plates thru the computer. But the info that came back was for my old car. Carl looked confused for a second. it was really funny.

A nice lady at the jiffy lube told me she really liked my F the President sticker and asked if i listened to Air america radio. I said I did. We talked about how Bush isn't a very good president while we waited.

My car got done and i left. No more rattling! thanks Jiffy Lube.

trompe!!  welcome back, kotter!

sadly, i have not managed to witness the resurrected camper van yet, but i have read with sadness their tales of gear thievery.  sad like crazy, eh?

did you ever become fully dent wizardized?  like, did you earn your cape and pointy hat?

i like that clip of zoey fondling the ivories.  she's got skills.  if she ever needs a dancer, my boy holden has the moves that kill.  and speaking of twinkle twinkle, just the other night he was singing that and he freestyled a new line:  "how i wonder what my spine is."  it's like the kid's been listening to the grifters or something.

hmm, i cannot get the Holden video to play. it opens the page but the screen has the little X where I should be clicking. I am on a new laptop, my old one was stolen a few months ago.  They broke the window outta my truck and it was in there. Luckily my insurance man said it was covered, the deductible was only $1200. So I was without computerness for some time.

Caw, I did not go the corporate route. I opened my own little shop in Austin, www.dentworksofaustin.com but you'd have to be pretty bored to look at the site. It has been pretty good but it's a scary thing to do, opening a place I mean.

Tripp, when the coca cola is right, nothing is wrong. I like coke especially with good mexican food or barbecue. But i am concerned, I read your post and hear nothing of your wife. I know I have been away and I hate to pry...I just wondered if things were ok.

I have the computer at work life now, I can again bear witness to the daily soap opera that is Crappity.

Zoey's favorite music is Jonathan Richman. Little Dinosaur, that song goes through my head all day.

Star Wars #3 was pretty good, but if you want to see a movie that will truly change your life for the better try Team America (fuck yeah).
