i've been watching the history channel's series on the presidents and there was a lot of talk of assassinations last night (it was lincoln through arthur, so you got a couple in there). what did we ever do before the secret service, hm? back when the president was fair game? it's so weird to think aboot.

just think- if we lived in that time, back when bush pulled that stupid stunt on the airplane ship (?what are those called again?) and he was in that flight suit like a big jerk, somebody coulda just taken him out! not even with a gun or a bomb, but with like knives or throwing stars or anything! it's insane to think aboot!!
