this one's even better:

"I don't know if you'd call it a regret, but it certainly is a lesson that a president must be mindful of, that the words that you sometimes say. … I speak plainly sometimes, but you've got to be mindful of the consequences of the words. So put that down. I don't know if you'd call that a confession, a regret, something."

Blues Explosion are about to be on the Liz Winstead show on Air America.  Is jon Spencer still affiliated with the Blues Explosion?

I heard some of the new Lou Barlow yesterday. Sexy, sexy stuff.

hey all...

me wife got me the DVR thing for our cable box...i guess it's like a TIVO...except it runs through the cable box...and it's only 10 bucks extra a month.

The cable guy came today...My wife she didn't know if he could handle the job...something about his cable not being long enough. He said relax...it'll get the job done...all he had to do was insert his unit into her box...and just like that it was done...he cleaned up and left.

So the first thing she is recording for me is the dylan doc "don't look back"...saw part of it last night...but missed alot.

I love the part when they're in the hotel room and joan baez is playing the guitar and singing "Percy's song" (Turn, turn to the rain
And the wind) and bobby d is in the background typing away on the typewriter.

i want some sugar in my bowl.  (i was just listening to that liberal air america, and heard jon spencer pick that nina simone song for "the party machine.")

i enjoy the hotel room scene when dylan lays waste to donovan, hitting the second syllable of "orphan" hard before hitting "gun" just as hard in the next phrase.
