You talk about polyamourous relationships has if they were some kind of ideal to attain.

no, she wasn't, dan. please read the post she wrote previous to this one a bit better.

Well, I realised that I wasn't interpreting rightly!  But she did, at least initially, imply that polyamourous relationships demanded more "maturity".

Turns out there wasn't much to shovel.

So, thanks, Bamah. (Watch out, Dan, Miz Bearden's got my back. Grin )  And she's right, I wasn't idealizing anything, just saying you can't ignore the fact that some people cheat, some don't, and some make arrangments that, while not to your taste, fall somewhere in between monogamy and not-monogamy.

Have I over-explained my position enough now?

Kiss and make-up? Or should we just get it on?

For myself, yes. I thought I'd implied in the post previous to that that I was into polyamory, and wanted to clarify that if I were to consider it, I'd have a lot of growin' up to do.

Like what kind of growing up? Like not knocking all the pieces off the board when you lose at Sorry?

Mike Leigh's film about a backstreet abortionist provides a much-needed antidote to 'pro-life' propaganda

I feel that Matt's avatar of a desperate man clawing at a closed window feels much more appropriate for Moe.

It's blotter art. The piece is called "Panic Attack".

(which is why the title of the thread I first used it on was the co-opting of a line from the Simpsons)

'm not sure which imagery I enjoy more...

Dan's "Democrasissy getting a swirlie"

or

Tripp's "Columbine Hill"
