Regarding the Nazi-Ron Paul revelation from Anonymous... I am not sure what to make of it. Fringe candidates tend to get caught up with fringe interests (ex. Gravel, McKinney, Kucinich, Paul and Nader all receive a generous serving of support from the 9/11 Truth Movement, and have all managed to say embarrassingly supportive remarks to them), but the white supremacist thing is so hairy you would have to think him mad to even get within twenty feet of them. I wonder how much of this is being orchestrated to destroy his candidacy. I do not mean to imply that it is fabricated, but that someone has worked hard to uncover this dirt and may have even lead Anonymous to it.

At the same time I have to question how it matters to anyone planning on voting for the other candidates. Obama has murdered tens of thousands of Arabs, Africans, and has supported the murder of hundreds of South Americans by supporting the coup in Honduras. This is real death and destruction... foreigners being killed by the State Capitalist War Machine. White supremacists support Paul because they believe he will actually stop "helping" other countries (such as military aid to Israel, and other aid to browns and blacks overseas), but a part of that would be stopping the wholesale slaughter that comes with overseas intervention...

I am unsure why this: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/_9DE0ON_Uzo" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/_9DE0ON_Uzo</a> is something that apparently disturbs liberals less than whether or not the president ever had his photo snapped standing beside the man who operates stormfront.org.

I do not care for Ron Paul... but there is no consistency to be had in pillorying Paul for his association with racists all the while endorsing Barack Obama despite the fact that he is killing, maiming and mutilating thousands of innocent people, all in support of what amounts to a profoundly racist imperial policy.

Even if Paul is a racist...at least he has no interest in KILLING other people because they are poor and brown and in the way of the elites.

I really loved Roseanne Barr growing up, but in recent years she has become the very sort of wingnut flake that I am surrounded by every day at work. She is one of those those vaguely left-wing new agers obsessed with Kabbalah, organic eating and meditation.

She is also a full-fledged Truther.

Roseanne Barr truly stands out as someone who had a firm and nuanced grasp on real people and their lives and was able to translate it into mass entertainment with some underlying artistic value... but then lost that grasp spectacularly and might just as well now be from the moon.
