I haven't watched every episode, but I liked what I'd seen. It's got its moments, but it's overrated. Still, better than another reality show.

I laughed some and respect it, but have a hard time with comedy about foolish/clueless people. I never watched much. In a similar vein, I find The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret nigh-on unwatchable.

50/50 is pleasant and all, with some decent performances and a not bad script. But unless it's just people being caught off guard that there's a movie from the extended Apatow family with a touch of gravitas, or just accumulated good will for Joseph Gordon Levitt's consistently good work these days, I don't quite follow why it's getting so much praise.

Nothing wrong with it. Nice little movie. Just didn't strike me as any kind of serious contender for best of the year.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy was pretty hard to follow...  I liked it though..  Gonna have to watch it again but yeah, I spent most of the movie wondering what was going on..

We watched Contagion, too... Proficient, realistic, interesting dramatization. Soderbergh cruising through a genre piece. Worth seeing, as an antidote to the usual stupid Hollywood shit about viruses, but not a top-shelf Soderbergh movie or anything.

interesting thing about these little "favors".  i expect that it's more of a plug for grifters/dragoon/tripp (however they credit the quote) than for codeine, as anyone who reads it is more than likely already a fan of THAT band and is more likely to seek out the work of the ones doing the praising...  here's hoping you move some units.    wacka wacka wacka!

so, I've been going through a lot of old drawings and pages and whatnot, looking for more stuff to put on my tumblr page.. most of what I found is pretty old so I probably won't post it. BUT I will share some of it here..
This is the first page of a comic I started back in the late 80's..  It was kind of a Philip k Dickian thing set in a future where the Earth had completely flooded.. I was so ahead of the curve on that one..  A few years later everyone was doing it..
I think I showed promise but this is not really very good work..

I like the compositions, but the detail and depth isn't necessarily there. They look like storyboards for a film.
