I had to get up at 6 and spend 5 hours on a bus to go all the way to Ottawa and back, just so I could spend three hours walking around in a room filled with students looking vaguely menacing. 

Yes, I was the head proctor at a final exam...  mr. disappointment

I think most of y'all are haters anyway, but the She and Him Christmas album is similarly to be avoided.

Considering I fell in like with her during the shower scene in Elf, its weird to me that they blew it so badly.    The song selection is painfully obvious, the arrangements have been phoned in, and her phrasing, usually so good, is godawful.

I consider She and Him to be a way above average Starbucks band... I tried that Christmas record too, because it's hard for me to hate anyone's Christmas music. I agree with you, though: phoned in.
