The guy who created Fables says for people to lay off Once Upon a Time. He says the initial concept is the same, but you can't copyright that, so people may as well let it go. Fairy tale stuff is in the air anyway, so it's inevitable there are similar ideas floating around.

I think the scenes with the dislocated fairy tale characters unknowingly living out echoes of their stories in the real world are pretty good. The expository flashbacks to fairy tale land suck.
