If you ever saw Fugazi live, there's a pretty good chance they've just released the shoe for download for $5. 800 of 'em just went up.

I also want to see Matthew and Dan's lists for 2011, as my inclinations overlap with theirs less than they do with most of y'all's, so I like to check out a different batch of things worth seeing.
Can't really give you a list. We have been so busy with all kinds of stuff this year that we didn't really get the time to go see a lot of movies. And the few movies we saw were either from local film makers or generic kiddy stuff.

tell me what yall think about this
I may add captions later but really I feel like if I have to explain it then it's not very good graphic design.. But i know you have to try to pimp yourself.. Also, I figure I'll get better with Tumblr as I go on with it.. Right now it's plain but that's ok with me.

We had a nice relaxing Thanksgiving. I've been cooking everything for the last couple of Thanksgivings, and I did that again this year. A little stressful, but satisfying.
And the Muppet movie was pretty darn good. It got more genuine laughs from me than I thought it would, and C was massively entertained. They did a really good job of matching the tone of the Muppet movies without being slavish. And Amy Adams was basically pitch perfect in a role-of-a-lifetime sort of way. There was a little too much fourth wall breaking for my tastes, and I got tired of Jason Segal by the end too, but those are pretty minor complaints.

Tripp, those are fine pieces, but you should consider adding a sentence or so to each, explaining either how it met the client's needs, something about what you were going for, or something technical or interesting about how you did it.

I'm gonna spend a couple of hours combing old archives for more design.. Trying to find some stuff that's not so cartoony but I guess it's good to showcase that stuff.

You don't have to fully explain any of those. Just give some nugget of info that implies there is a story for each that ends with "...and it came out just the way it should have because I'm fucking awesome and a total pro."

Looks great, Tripp. There are a couple of them that might do with some explaining...like zombie Santa. Is that "Seasons Eatings"?
