Why is LR trending so heavy?

I was & at karaoke the other night and the DJ(?) led off by singing "Hello"

I guess people want to make fun of him like Rick Astley, but at least LR's music is listenable.

My girl asked what I wanted her to sing for me. I said Led Zep. So she sang Going to California. Very nice. She was the best singer in the bar of course.
