in other news, i start working part-time (15-20 hours a week) with mike papantonio next week. i'll probably be doing mostly grunt work, but the idea is do get some real experience inside a law firm to make sure this is what i want to pursue. he's hooking me up with this guy who works primarily on environmental cases and tort stuff. which is pretty much in line with what i see myself pursuing so i'm excited about it. take the LSAT in october. i should be getting my score right around the time dragoon comes down so hopefully we'll be doing some celebrating. That's awesome-cool, Pat!!!! How exciting, congrats from Canadiatown! |

Remember my friends' baby who couldn't breathe at birth and had to be in neo-natal ICU for a few weeks? Well, he's been home for almost a month now, eating well (and breathing like a dang sumbitch!), etc., and today he's even visiting Toronto. (Baby's first road trip!) So I'm gonna see the li'l peanut before they go off to the baseball game. Yay!

I don't really know Trompe. I'll probably just be hangin' with my pals and tag along and do whatever they want to do. One of these people owns a restaurant in Mexico, so it's kind of a big deal that he's here for a visit. The other guy is like Kid Charisma. He just always seems to be the coolest dude in whatever orbit he is inhabiting. At least that's the way he used to be. After talking to him this week, he still seems like that guy.
