it's pretty great..  Brian Aldiss' take on it is interesting.. He notes that PKD wasn't really appreciated til after Blade Runner came out (after his death).. But that now writers like Asimov and Heinlein are kinda considered to be dinosaurs while Dick seems completely contemporary..
Also, PKD loved Blade Runner visually but didn't care for the script..  and he never got to see the finished product..

Also, I wouldn't say I'm exactly in the "real world" either. I've been trying to power through True Blood (totally un-real world) so I can catch up to current season. Only finished season 1 last night, but have season 2 burned and ready to go, and season 3 downloaded but not burned. I reckon at this rate, I can be current maybe 6 eps into the new season, which isn't too far behind....

Day 8 of no booze, still feel tired all the time.

Roommate STILL away, won't be back till I think Sunday, which means Ryan and I will have from Wednesday night through Saturday night alone. Yay!
