I don't know. It's a little clip that goes from under the hood and clips then goes into where the dials and shit are.. I think they only connect to the latch pin thingie..

You can try disconnecting that. I have been assuming it's a normally open circuit. If it's normally closed, yanking that thing will make it work.
If not, look coming from the latch pin thing itself and see if there aren't two wires. Then with the wire nutting and such.

ok.. that didn't work but I DID ascertain that it's stopping right at the RINSE cycle.. Once it stopped I switched it over to the gentle cycle and it started up again.. it got to the rinse and locked up... same on permanent press.. so.. there's gotta be a clog somewhere, right.?
