There's something weird with the database I will have to repair. I knew it was making the "___ new members waiting for approval" thing hinky, but didn't realize it was mucking up PMs. I'll try and take a look sometime, but gawd knows when. I'm fairly booked up.

haven't heard the new one.... mapmaker and stay afraid are both fucking awesome.  last time i saw them, chris (amazing fucking drummer) had recently left.  their new drummer didn't seem to be able to carry the weight. plus they had added a second  guitar player (which meant that live, dan played less guitar and mostly twirled knobs, and bj played bass strictly, doing no knob twirling (one of the things that really impressed me the first couple times i saw them was the multi-tasking ability of the two of them), and i think the intensity/dynamics of their live show suffered dramatically by the changes. as i result i wasn't that interested in the last record they did and never picked it up.  i hear they are back to a 3-piece and melting faces again so maybe i'll download the new one to a get a preview before the show...

The new drummer is pretty solid, I've only listened a couple times so far, but enjoying. I like Mapmaker a lot, too. This one is a different kind of good.

Our accountant came by my desk when I was posting and the jerk-off gesture clearly visible on my computer screen. She didn't say anything (she would just laugh if she had noticed)... This is partly why I can't really be crappiteering at work. Plus, my boss is now back also, which means I have to work again....
