It sucks that the price of oil can be manipulated by rumors. People who are trying to make money off the rising price of oil are scumbags. I wish some major automaker would have the balls to announce they're phasing out the gas powered car over the next 3 - 5 years. Just start a friggin' rumor.

Rising oil prices generally lead to a stall and a decline in the market, which means investors who have been waiting on the sidelines start coming out and looking for bargains. Though not as directly, most investors are trying to make money off of rising oil prices. I guess that means we're all scumbags, just not as big or as rich as the hardcore shameless scumbags.

So, how specific can you get with what you want to invest in.? I know you can get very specific but I'm just conversatin' here.. Seems like people invest in companies that do many things.  ?. What if I thought bionic arms were gonna be huge in 3 years and wanted to get in on the ground floor.? I guess I'm asking what the main categories are for investing.
