South Dakota House Bill 1171 recently made it out of committee and will soon come to vote on the floor. The bill expands the definition of justifiable homicide to include preventing harm to an unborn fetus.

In short, it would make it legal to kill doctors who perform abortions.

Their new record is kinda boring. They back-burnered the Skynyrd-ish rawk and Tom T Hall story songs and they're basically just scuffling around all mid-tempo like somewhere between early Tom Petty and Kris Kristofferson. I'm still a fan of theirs, but the record let me down. I could stand to listen to it more carefully, but I don't see it settling in that much better. I know Pat liked it. He may have different stuff to say.

I bet you they play "Used to Be a Cop" though, and that's one of the bright spots.
