I heard (via FB) from some friends in Portland that the show Portlandia is not a huge hit there..  Which makes me want to love it now.

What is Party Down? I Googled it, so I know it's a canceled tv show and vaguely what it's about, but references to it seem to pop up everywhere lately. Was it good?

It was SO good.. You must check it out.. it's about a catering company.. Stars Ken Marino, Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, Martin Starr, Lizzie Kaplan..  a lot of episodes are directed by Fred Savage..  I'm sure I've raved about it in here before..

WHOA! My father always liked to tease me that Suzanne Somers was my first celebrity crush (at 3 years old or so). I can't decide what's the worst in that picture, but I'm tempted to vote for chin texture

I actually thought it was gonna be a clip show of Dana Carvy's hits (and I loathe Linkin Park) so didn't end up watching. (Was into Winnebago Man by the time the show came on, so stuck with that.) So it was actually good. Hm. I guess it could happen.

I avoided the half-time show (and about 87% of the game). I can't stand Black Eyed Peas. From what I understand, the whole thing was an embarrassment.
