I actually really admire you for that. And for the way you've renewed your focus on health. And for the time you dedicate to reading and learning guitar. We could all stand to learn a little from you on prioritizing. Sincerely. Good for you.

i second all that.  Smiley

I third it. Evan, I'm only a year younger and I have nothing. No assets (no car, no house), no savings, zero collateral (though my credit rating is decent, thanks to now paying my cards on time, so I reckon I could get a small loan or line of credit), and no retirement fund. Thanks, many years of self-employment. It's only this current job that has put me in the black, but I'm basically fucked. Even in Canadia, I'm fucked. (Basically, I have to win a lottery. Wish me luck!)

So I think you're on the right path. Maybe previous advisers were not the best, but at least you're on your way, you know?

I have paid into the Canada Pension Plan but the boomers will have pretty much cleaned it out by the time I'm eligible, so I'll be eating cat food in no time. I can't be veg when I'm starving to death, right?

Well, if I was stoned (either or both meanings), I guess I wouldn't care much either way about retirement years....

 bar car by Dragoon...

this is a fairly drunk take but I think it sounds really good..  sound-wise.. if you're able to crank it on a good sound system go for it.. but yeah... it's pretty sloppy.

 Queenie by Dragoon...
probably our oldest song.  this was an experiment (tonight) in over-driving the drum sound..  this is actually only 3 tracks you're hearing.. 2 guitars and 1 drum mike (overdriven)

Sabamah, I love you and your wonderful father, too.  He will be in my positive thoughts daily.  Keep your chin up, lady!
