pumpkin time!!!

ok.  kim made madeline a personalized pumpkin.  she did the "just scrape away the outer skin" technique so that letters could be created without figuring out how to make certain letters legible.  downside is, it's not really all that translucent and the pictures aren't coming out.  enter wonders of photobucket editor. the first is the original photo.  the second is after adusting brightness, contrast, light, saturation, hue, etc.  ta-da!!

ok.  here's mine.  kinda last minute idea.  finished it as trickertreaters started to arrive..(we're still getting a few...mostly older kids  without costumes.  i kinda don't like giving them candy.)  anyways, anybody recognize this guy?

matthew, you should know by now you can't embarrass yourself on crappity.  anyways...shreds videos are forever funny.  hadn't seen that one before.  YAY!!

Great birthday. Sheri gave me the new Jim Woodring book (Weathercraft.. go get it) and a cool coat that makes me look like a 1950's Russian.. Got to see two good friends get married.. saw many lovely ladies in witch hats dancing to Abba and KC and the Sunshine band.. Got home in time to greet one group of trick-or-treaters and found I had ONE blowpop to hand out. I threw it in the front yard and told them only the most worthy could claim it.
