I had kind of a zen moment tonight.

I wanted to watch a Nova episode I recorded...but there was mistake in the scheduling and instead it was a documentary about the Dalai Lama.  Fine, because it actually looked more interesting.

Anyway, a moth flew by me and I tried to kill it...but I missed and accidentally hit myself in the nuts.

I watched Iron Chef: Battle Truffle.

The challenger was from a Portland restaurant called Beast.

She and her sous chef were positively the two most adorable kitchen team I've ever seen:

For the last month or probably more I've been trying to learn what is probably the most basic cross picking pattern in the world. I'm at the point where I can get through it a few times before I crash. I'm also getting a lot better on So Sad About Us. That's the only song I've really tried to learn and I've been trying for a while. My voice sucks. I sound like Kris Kristofferson when I'm trying to sing that song.

I think I downloaded Superman/Batman Apocalypse ( new one, not out yet) I'm gonna give it a go,, Dragoon practice was good tonight.. Our new recording set-up is taking shape.. I'm getting the hang of miking for a direct to computer set-up.
