Every get that not so fresh feeling? You know..."down there"?

This one's for you(r) boys. (Apparently it uses some kind of patented aluminum-, paraben-, talc- free formula, but why not let a creepy, far-too-cheerful virtual pitchwoman tell you all about it by visiting the site!)

You're number 10! You're number 10!

(I'm sure the Canadian accent is sexy...somewhere.)

A sizzle reel is a short-ish snazzy piece to get people pumped about whatever you're selling.

I only started hearing that phrase about six months ago. Now I hear it everywhere (including here...gah!), twice today, even. And always from a Los Angelino source.

Executives are important because they make new word combinations.

I watched Greenberg tonight.  Pretty damn good movie.  I think Noah Baumbach has finally arrived with this movie, maybe his best.

I know Matthew did not like Squid & the Whale.  I'd like to see him dislike this one.  Since Ben Stiller is in it that should be easy.

It was good to see Stiller do some acting again.  His best movie in a while for sure.  It's not a zany comedy, but you will laugh and feel disturbed.  You will recognize truth in this.  I think it's about the pain of being comical.

in my (our?) defense, i've heard and been using that term for a long time, so it's not just LA douchespeak. (although i heard plenty of that today, as well)

btw, residual echoes DO, in fact, rock. very, very much so. jesse leaned over at one point during their show and said "i'm thinking...these guys and dragoon on the same bill" and i was like "YES." and if you can hold your own as an opener to dragoon, then you're in.

jesse is already kicking serious ass with this new label and management company. he knows how to pick 'em, y'all.
