Help on the way
I know only this
I've got you today
Don't fly away
'cause I love what I love
and I want it that way

I will stay
one more day
Like I say
Honey, it's you
Without love in the dream
It will never come true

For some reason this is what came to mind after watching kerry's speech last night.

Sorry to go all hippie on you all, but it's from the Blues for Allah cd by the Grateful dead...Help on the Way

So i was damn impressed by his speech last night (except for the whole "I'm john kerry, reporting for duty. I see what they're going for...but it seemed corny)

and how about them rocking tunes...

springsteen's no retreat no surrender
U2, A beautiful day
and van Halen's Unchained...

"whoa...john edwards you are looking good tonight..."

"oh come on john give me a break..."

"one break coming up"

oh hell.. I missed "unchained".   Ok, now I'll vote for him.

Yeah, Kerry definitely kicked it last night.  Although the closing was a little questionable..

"I like../ I like the way the line runs up the back of the stockings
I've always liked those kind of high heels too
No no no no, don't take 'em off, don't take..
Leave 'em on, leave 'em on
Yeah, that's it/ A little more to the right "

hey capt or any other mac users...

can you tell me how to ftp using the mac? I need to download my files from brainfiber and can't figure out how.

I somehow hooked up to ec's site, but i think i was drinking when i did it and have no recollection how i did it (funny...I said the same thing after each time i found out we were having a baby).

After 6 years i am shutting the brainfiber.com site down. the 3 other guys who used to help me have no interest and our hosting contract is up and domain name has to be paid for agian...so it's going belly up.

From the morgan Freeman narrated "Kerryshank Redemption" movie, you would think kerry somehow birthed two kids by himself...

what happened to his first wife?

tell you what, i was impressed. Wasn't so sure before. Didn't like the other option, but wasn't too impressed by Johnny K.

But last night convinced. But one thing they need to do...and i was watching the uncut cspan convention...don't show the conventioneers...they scared me.

BF, well, you just need to get yrself an ftp program like this one..
http://www.download.com/FTP-Client-OS-X-/3000-2151-10189535.html?tag=lst-0-3

then just dial into your site and download everything.

and thank you for saying so Tripp, I've been thinking about Teresa ever since her speech.   I want to call her "mama".   But not in a maternal way, in a naughty naughty way that I should be ashamed of.

i just read that tom ridge might retire from homeland security czar...his reason:

"Ridge, 58, has explained to colleagues that he needs to earn money to comfortably put his two children, Tommy Jr. and Lesley, through college, officials said. Both are now teenagers. Ridge earns $175,700 a year as a Cabinet secretary. "

Holy shit...if he can't put his kids through college making that I'm totally fucked!

These are the "family values" that we've been hearing so much about.
