if this hasn't been solved.  this is a locust (cicada) shell.  they shed skin like a snake and leave them on trees and such.  are these not everywhere?  we always see them down here. i think i had a collection of them as a kid for a while.

i always took those things for granted i guess.  was fascinated by them as a kid.  i'm appreciating that a bit more now that they seem to be a little more geographically contained as i once assumed.   LONG LIVE LOCUST SHELLS!!!

sweet. lemme know how it is.  debating buying tix for one of the florida shows.  st. augustine, HOB orlando, jannus landing.

jannus landing would be amazing if it hasn't changed in 10 years.  seems  small for them now.  just glad to see them playing something other than a festival within driving distance.  also GBV in atl pretty soon.  need to get on those quick before they turn into pavement tickets online.
