I cried when Muad'dib threw himself in front of that train.
What? Are you telling me how he dies, or are you confusing him with Anna Karenina?
Damn it, Ev beat me to it.

Is the sequel worth reading? I'm not finished with this one yet, but I'm into it enough to consider getting a hold of the sequel.

Yes. All the Dune books written by Frank Herbert are worth reading.

But pace yourself, take your time, or you are going to get sick of it.

I'm about to start the last part of the book. Why did the movie makers decide to give the Baron that horribly gross skin disease? Unless something happens to him in the last part, he's just a big fat sloth, but no puss-oozing skin problems.

I'll wait a while before I read the next one.

It was a long day, but we did get a lot done. In addition to various exploring, we were able to knock out the following (in order): Indiana Jones Adventure, Jungle Cruise, lunch at Rancho del Zocalo, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan's Flight, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Splash Mountain, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, It's a Small World, Disneyland Railroad (including Primeval World), ice cream in Sunshine Plaza in Disney California Adventure, Soarin' Over California, cocktails in the Hearthstone Lounge @ The Grand Californian, "Magical" - the new fireworks show (while we ate corn dogs on Main Street USA), Fantasmic!, and finally a midnight ride on Space Mountain.
Not a bad little introduction for a first-timer, I think.
