do you say it like "I can see that..." in a kind of puzzled way, but letting them know you had them pegged as an asshole already?  or more of an "I can see that."  in a "well... obviously, asshole. you've made that crystal clear" kind of way.  either way, i'm gonna use it.  usually, i just get puffy faced and call them a liar and that the only excuse for not liking the beatles is that it may disrupt your status in whatever toocool clique you were trying to win the approval of in high school.  now that high school is over, it's time to come clean or else end up like some 80 year old queer who never came out of the closet and therefore had a miserable life that should have been fabulous.
