I just realized I have been telling people to have a good weekend all day. I've been doing that, too. But my long weekend does start tomorrow at 6pm (and hopefully, at 5pm instead), so...kinda right? Four day weekend. Yay!

mmm. I found the most delicious watermelon. Grab the one with the darkest skin, y'all (the sweeter the juice).
OK! The raspberries are ripening earlier this year (thanks rain and cold!). Pretty happy about that. Have picked a couple small bowls already. Yay!

And it's over. The Spaniards played better, they deserved to win.
As long as Brazil is still in it, I still get to look forward to lots of neighbourhood horn-honking and drunken Portuguese men in my hood for a while.

Sav, when are you in Memphis?
You'll have to remind me next week (after pay day) to order the DVD. Brain is in low-functioning mode these days.

FBP registered a second time, for some reason. I am guessing she lost her old login.
Raspberries! Yup, early this year. Simon was delighted. He's already picked the plant clean. He's nuts about things he can eat from the yard. Now that he's cleaned out the first cherry tomato plant and the berries, he's entertaining himself eating chives until the second tomato plant comes in.
Also: my dad has now peed out 55 lbs. of weight. Yeah, I know.

I'm in Mempho from July 3-7. Already gave my dad a heads up that a canadian ordeur will be coming in at some point.

Much love to your dad and family. I almost can't wrap my head around that number, though. That's two of my daughter.
