That is about as glowing a review as a band can get on Pitchfork. You can get higher point ratings if they decide your record is a signpost for a coming trend they want to help spearhead or if they feel like you're on a victory lap they called coming, but in terms of how well they speak of a record on its own merits, that is about as glowing as they get.

Yeah, the points are a bit meh...but I'm sure the reviewer didn't assign them.

The review is so positive and so creative in the description of Dragoon's sound.  I'm really impressed.

Congrats on the awesome review. Been hearing about it all day (um, from a crappitteer, and the roommate, but still...). Yay.

Hope everyone's grand. I'm living in a police state (i.e. Toronto, downtown, before the G8/G20 summits). Check points for drivers, pedestrians denied access to certain areas, all post boxes, garbage cans, and newspaper boxes gone in the downtown core around the convention centre. Looking forward to the cell phone signals being jammed (the wireless providers agreed to this) on Friday and Saturday, too...
