You know Pat, normally I would say yes... But I'm in a happy committed relationship these days so...  talk to the hand

i was thinking we could just talk about intelligent design in general, and more specifically, how my penis fits perfectly snug in a blue avatar-themed fleshlight.

I wonder, did XX Century Fox's marketing division approve of that?

I'm listening to Bitte Orca, and I'm digging it so far.  Yeah, that African melodies influence you guys mentioned is quite apparent.  But they do their own thing with it.  Although, sometimes, like in Remade Horizon, it feels like I'm listening to rock Bobby McFerrin

Well, the Ides of March have come,” said jesting Caesar to the soothsayer as he entered the Senate.
“Ay, they are come; but they are not yet gone.”

I changed the thread title.

I downloaded Broken Lizard's  The Slammin Salmon last night....   zero stars..

I usually find something to like in all their movies.. Not this one.  Every single nanosecond of this movie bombed.

it would be foolish to oppose such a popular, practical device.

True, true.  Do you know if they made a blue dildo too?

I usually find something to like in all their movies.. Not this one.  Every single nanosecond of this movie bombed.

super troopers:  verry funny first time around.  several laugh out loud moments.  second spin....not so much. kinda bolied down to a feature length episode of "reno 911" with some memorable one-liners.

club dread: other than the scene where bill paxton goes off on jimmy buffett (pina coladaburg/sonofa sonofa bitch) total waste of time.  although that scene is worth having to watch the rest of it.  seems like there were acouple nice boob scenes that make the rest a bit more tolerable.

beerfest: only saw it once, what i remember:  for a movie whose whole structure is built around a bunch of lowbrow dude jokes about dicks and beer, it was pretty freaking funny. although a second viewing might produce the same effect as super troopers...

what other movies have those guys done?

i imagine a google search could answer that. however, i'm reluctant to type "dildo" into the new museum search engine.  we're all networked now.   my guess would be "yes".

a couple of pre-big-time movies that aren't worth watching  ( Puddlejumper..?)  I've found that their movies are way funnier if you watch them with a bunch of drunk people.   Slammin Salmon is the first outing of theirs NOT directed by Jay Chandrasekhar. it was directed by Kevin Hefferman (the fat one)..

This scene from Beerfest is surreal and funny.

preferrably, a bunch of drunk people who haven't seen it.  their movies are also the kind that encourage people to repeat ad nauseum the best one liners to the point that when you watch it, the one liners aren't so funny anymore.
