This weekend has been a drag. I've basically been put out of commission with this back problem. It's not as bad as it was Thursday, but it's still pretty sore. I go back to the doc tomorrow, so we'll see what he says. This is not what I wanted to be worrying about during spring break.

mine hasn't been real memorable..  Stan was 2.5 hours late for Dragoon practice (work-related).  In the meantime I introduced Bobby to the world of Built To Spill.. I'd always thought there were some similarities with Bobby's style and BTS. To my surprise he'd never listened to them..  Then Bobby got behind the drums and I played guitar for a while.  Chaddie stopped by..  Stan finally showed up.. and then we talked about family strife for about 3 hours and never played..!  I left about 11:30 and Stan said he was gonna stay and take it out on the drums.  Pretty crappy band practice.

Jeez.  Sounds like I left just in time.  I hope Stan is OK.  He's def had his share of family strife.  I did like a bit of what you and Bobby were rockin'!  So...there's that.

PMAs to Dragoon...better luck next time

By the way... Stan:

Family strife is about the worst kind of strife, along with, oh I dunno, penile erectile disfunction and other serious health problems.

Sorry if I'm pointing out the bleeding obvious, but... The banana is actually evidence of intelligent design.  Except that the designer is us: bananas, along with all the other fruits, vegetables, grains and farm animals, have been selectively bred and generally messed with for a very long time by humans.  In their original wild state, they are nearly inedible.

Nice ride Pat.!  How'd you find such a sweet deal.?

thanks be to mine madra.  the mother-in-law of someone my mom walks with in the mornings has just moved into assisted living, and can no longer drive.  apparently the thing got her to church and the grocery store for the past ten years and nothing else. they only wanted $5500 for it so we got it checked out over the weekend and there doesn't seem to be any other issues so she bought it.  i'm paying her back (interest free!!) $150 /mo.   it sucks getting bailed out by my mom (fucking pride and all)  but it's awesome having a reliable daddy car.  fair trade.
