I like to think Bob is in heaven right now, throwing up on God's shoes.

Have you seen that show on Spike, 1000 Ways to Die? Jonathan and I saw it in a bar a few weeks back and it is... Well, let Current.tv tell you about it:

You think he'd remember, considering he was in office too.

Something I hate about myself: I have a hard time pronouncing "remember" for some reason.  Half the time I completely muddle it.

So when you read my posts and I use that word, you might want to hear it in your head as "remmmber" sometimes...just for the sake of verisimilitude.

I saw Nirvana play in 1991, at the Foufounes Electriques, before they got huge.  I liked them, it was a good show.

Funny, I had a good friend who also attended that show and he said it was quite dreadful.

I think there were two Nirvana shows at Foufounes: one in 1990, and another in 1991.  I saw the 1991 show.  As you can understand, my recollection of it is kind of sketchy, but I remember enjoying myself.  I dunno, maybe I was in a good mood.  Maybe I was drunk.  Maybe I couldn't really make an accurate judgement: I think that Nirvana show was the third or fourth live rock show I went to.   Or maybe it was actually good.  Maybe your friend saw the 1990 show, and I saw Nirvana on a good day.

Anyway, parts of the 1991 show are on youtube, you can judge for yourself.

Despite my occasionally loud and unwelcome rants in defensive of unpopular opinions, I am neither a contrarian nor an elitist, and there is no reason to anticipate a negative response to all things popular with the great unwashed (you may be confusing me with another canuck).

Yeah Karen!  I mean, what the fuck, girl!  Stop it with the snobbery already!   talk to the hand

You think he'd remember, considering he was in office too.

This seems to be some new GOP meme they're trying to sneak in. Mary Matalin recently said on CNN that we "inherited" a recession and a terrorist attack from Clinton, neither of which are true, but one of which is way more egregious and insulting. The fucked up thing is that these statements aren't challenged by the interviewer. Even if you make the very generous assumption that both of these clods meant to say that there wasn't an attack after 9/11 Bush still had the shoe bomber.
