it's the first truly hot day of summer here in brew city, and i just worked in the backyard pulling weeds and pruning bushes and mowing the grass while listening to both discs of todd rundgren's something/anything? record.

which means i now have his song "slut" in my head.  which means i'll probably have to listen to some big star later on.  but now i think i'll bike down to the record store and buy the new Rush EP of songs they covered when they were kids and learning how to rock.
