Well, your (Pat's) mac and cheese had a variety of gourmet cheeses as well as the sausage. So I liked yours better. S____ always uses low-fat milk and cheese.  Which I'm thankful for but it's just a bit less tasty.  Usually when she cooks stuff I sneak into the kitchen and add a bunch of garlic while she's not looking.

I've been doing the Starbucks eggnog lattes for over a week, so 'tis certainly the season.

I'd love for Heather to try some of your mac 'n' cheeses (macs 'n' cheese?). Since she's reverted to completely vegetarian, she's become an expert on the "appetizer as main course" trick. There's a local restaurant that makes a mac 'n cheese with shaved truffles. It is apparently so good that she now has a problem ordering m 'n' c anywhere else. She says that it feels like cheating. (Though there was that place in Maui that put their mac 'n' cheese in a pocket of dough and deep fried it. That was special, too.)

And goo goo.

Is that because they're talking about cooking?

That's an exact transcription of my daughter wanting me to turn the damn TV on.  As in "first get his attention by screaming and then ask him".
