In the past week, I've had to cold call the VP of Acquisitions at Touchstone (luckily he was very nice), and Julia Roberts' production company (luckily got voicemail, so could follow up with email). I know no one likes cold-calling, but for a very shy person, man, it's excrutiating. And I'm not getting any better at it as time goes on. Blech. Oh well, six more minutes left to go.........
