morning coffee...kids screaming and crying playing the wii...it's raining...Yankees won.

Need to put on some music and clean the kitchen.

thought of the day: "Is proscrastination just another word for patience?"

Gibbard And Farrar Set Kerouac To Music

if you're thinking they dig up his body and play his bones you'll be dissapointed. But you can listen to the whole album...not something i would buy.

Sorry I couldn't post that whole segment, starting with the non-animated part. I just couldn't sit through it again.

Clarence kinda reminds me of Grover. Only more annoying.

I used to have a Grover finger puppet back in ye olde 70s - he was my fave.

Not code.

Last night, we went to the historic Egyptian Theater for their first "American Cinematheque Blows Up The Internet" show. They presented the entire second season of The Guild as well as the full Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog to a sold-out and appreciative audience. Not only was it neat to see these shows on a really big screen, but it was a unique opportunity to share the experience with a large group of people. I know that they say that the web is the future of entertainment, but nothing beats sharing the experience with a bunch of like-minded folks.

After the presentation, there was a lively Q&A session with various cast and crew members of the two projects.

From left to right: The Egyptian programmer (whose name escapes me at the moment), Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, Zack Whedon, Joss Whedon, Felicia Day, Vincent Caso, Ken Mittleider, Sandeep Parikh.

My favorite line of the night:

Audience Member: This question is for Joss. My best friend is a fan of 'Heroes'. Can go in and save the show?
Joss: Nothing can save 'Heroes'.

It got a lot colder than that here. It's been in the 40s during the day (shut up, Dan, they don't understand Celsius!) and 20s at night. (By the way, if that was Celsius, it'd be pretty freakin' hot) but we didn't get the snow they got in NY/NJ. Wonder how the midwesterners fared...
