Dan is just being contrary.  He prefers Acoustic Dark Soloist.

HOLY CRAP, I never get tired of that song.

You serious?

"Telephone Line" by Electric Light Orchestra? You bet your ass I love that song. And it may be bad form to call out the other passengers on the Goob Train, but I'm pretty sure capn has an ELO punch on his ticket, too.

For me... the go-to ELO song is still Waterfall

What?  I'm not picking up what you're putting down, Kurt.

JSG was on here a week or so ago pimping some Canadian television shows.

I happen to be watching one myself...DURHAM COUNTY.  I recommend.  Reminds me a lot of Twin Peaks but not funny.  One critic called it Dexter meets Twin Peaks.  Pretty sick and twisted.

I've been in a damn strange mood all day.  This may be my strangest day of posting yet.

One other note on Bored to Death...

A lot of critics are saying the 1st episode isn't very good.  You have to stick with it through week 2.

THE JAY LENO SHOW WILL BE SHOWN IN ITS ENTIRETY IMMEDIATELY AFTER GIANTS BASEBALL.

So, i got to see some of the jay leno show tonight, he was delayed to the point where his video homunculus is before me on the tv screen, parading around in various skits that reference i guess nbc shows i haven't seen. he's pretty comfortable. he's got an audience who thinks he's the shit.

And now here's conan o brien, who has to do jokes to jay leno's old audience. That's a no-win situation.

Maybe I'll still be logged on for the next show, when jimmy fallon does his light-hearted thing. But I've got a new album passed along to me, david bowie's "low?"

This post took me hours, now i remember. i kind of plant myself and graze on here, you guys are so fast. I feel like a protozoon on a spaceship, praise god.
