I watched Adventureland.  Pleasant but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.  After hearing it's not very funny, I expected something more personal.  But it's a pretty conventional movie, with good taste.

Tripp, you are on the money about Jesse Eisenberg being the poor man's Michael Cera.  Eisenberg is better when he plays more of an asshole.  I see him as a young Ben Stiller.

I didn't hate the movie at all but it's not something I'll ever put back on probably.. Good for Martin Starr though.. and it did ring true for the era was it portraying.. I'll give it that..

My dad responded well to antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, and the infectious disease lady says it's not meningitis causing the pericarditis. They're doing additional tests to see if they can figure out what caused it, but in most cases, they never really find out. They're weaning him off the oxygen and the meds to see how he holds up. They're dangling going home soon as a possibility, but even if he does, he may have some lingering effects for as long as two weeks. He sounds better.

We're going to go see them next weekend, looks like.
