Just got back from District 9.  Really cool movie.  Too many plot holes to pass the sci fi test.

But exciting, entertaining, fun.

I read that it only cost $30 mil to make but it looks like $150 mil on screen.  The movie knocks a lot of Hollywood dicks in the dirt.

Visually it's very impressive.

cool. I'll wait. But I've been hoping someone would go back to doing 70's style scifi productions.

How does it rate compared to stuff like Cloverfield?

You'll dig it, Tripp.  It's a very cool movie.

Don't let the boring trailers fool you.  It kicks a lot of ass.

Yeah,  I saw it too.    I loved it.

It kind of felt like the 28 Days Later of the alien genre.      Some brains and  genuinely interesting characters make up for a whole lot of expensive effects and stars.
