I am going to spend most of the weekend painting little Sophie's room.

PAT!!  HOW WAS THE SHOW?!?!

last night we had Fraysia practice.. everyone showed up.. thats the first time the core quartet has played together in a couple of months..'good times.. at around 10:40pm Stivers busted out some RUST NEVER SLEEPS  and as we were jamming it I was wondering if perhaps Pat wasn't jamming the same song at the exact same time..

With one breath, with one flow you will know synchronicity.

I've recently realized that I don't look for new music to rock my world anymore. If I'm not careful, I'm gonna start acting like the oldster I'm becoming. I guess I could look for a couple of the bands you guys were talking about on yesterday's thread.

I haven't ever gotten into Lucero. I can't imagine Roy getting into Lucero, either.

I think they're a pretty amazing band.  Their crowd is a little weird to me..  I don't know if you knew this but at a lot of Lucero shows the band doesn't even have to sing because the ENTIRE audience is singing every word of every song.

We decided that Fraysia should always play behind a curtain.  And perhaps have puppets perform for the audience.

i know. it's been done.. still....  just some way that the audience can't see us.

But then you couldn't see the audience reaction.

I'm imagining a red velvet curtain and everything is lit like the Black Lodge.

show was fun.  only problem... i started drinking at about 6.   we played about midnight.  i was good n shitfaced.   but it sounded good to me.  i broke a string at the beginning of cowgirl which fucked up my solo-ability. whatev.   there were probably 150 people there.    as soon as i get some pictures/video  i'll put it up.
