Just dropped thee big bucks: I've paid next terms school tuition, and I've finally ordered an 13" aluminium macbook to replace my old ibook G4.  Put together, that's over 3000 canuckistani rubbles in one day.  I don't make that much money, so it's making me a little dizzy. 

Lets hope the new macbook will be as reliable as my old ibook.

By the way, R____, who finished her Ph. D. a couple of months ago, found herself a good job.  In fact, two good jobs: she's going to work three days a week at a local hospital, in the Eating Disorders clinic, and she's doing couples therapy at a private cabinet (getting paid 150 bucks per hour) the rest of the week.  At the Eating disorders clinic, she's going to be in charge of organising a teaching workshop for healthcare workers on the subject of eating disorders, and she will be doing some research.  

I'm proud as punch!

I can certainly try! 

Uh... Now that I think of it... Since I have to pay school tuition out of a research assistant salary, I usually don't pay taxes.  I just don't make enough. 

I tell you, if we weren't living in a housing co-operative, we would be indigent!

After months of looking for a part-time kindergarten place for little Sophie, and finding sweet fuck all, we just gave up and decided to pay a nanny instead.  She will be taking care of my loin fruit twice a week. 

It's going to be expensive!   mr. disappointment
