Anybody else watch Weeds? We were behind the curve on that one, but are almost caught up now. Fun show. We had avoided it because of the pot thing. I mean, obviously we aren't offended, but if you don't actually smoke pot, pot culture shit is pretty boring. But then friends insisted it wasn't really about pot, so we watched anyway. Hee-larious. Good stuff. They have a real knack for odd characters on that show.

we watch the weeds.  good stuff. if for no other reason, the occasional display (this week's episode included) of mary-louise parker's tits should be enough of a draw.  plus kevin nealon is hilario.

speaking of the lou dobbs thing.  keith olbermann has really been going after him hard lately, with the same type of humor mocking the ridiculousness of the "birther" movement.  you might consider finding a way to present the idea of the website to his production staff.  i would imagine he would love the idea. they could probably afford the legwork of building a Poe's law worthy site.  just make sure you register the domain, and save any correspondence to make sure you get in on any advertising revenue/etc  that is associated with it. even if you did it on your own, i imagine if it was brought to his (staff's) attention, he would gladly do a segment on the show.  just sayin..

Weeds is excellent television.  And Mary Louise Parker is a stone fox.

I was surprised that Weeds isn't so much about pot as it is a satire on suburbia. At least for the first three seasons. Then it sort of sort of drops that and relies entirely on the characters for comedy, which is more than fine. Celia is maybe the most epic frenemy television has ever known. An ep we saw recently where she is taken hostage and her captors go through her entire cell phone without finding even a single person willing to pay even the most meager ransom to save her life had us in stitches.
